Perfectly Placed Privacy Statement
Perfectly Placed is committed to protecting your privacy and security. This Privacy Statement explains how and why we use your personal data, when we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.
We are a UK registered company and we are also registered as a Data Controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office, which is the UK regulator for data protection. You can contact our Data Protection Officer by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling us on 01934 235454.
We only collect information about you where we have lawful reason to do so.
If you are a client to enable us to enter into a contract with you we need to collect name, address, email address and contact telephone number. This information will be used as part of our financial accounts and will be deleted after 7 years.
Whilst, for security reasons, we prefer payment to be paid, and deposits returned, via BACS if you wish to use a method that requires us needing to know your account details we will never hold those details on our computer systems and we will destroy them as soon as the transaction has been successfully processed.
If you are attending an event that we are organising your host may give us your name as part of a guest list, we will hold this information for one month after the date of the event after which it will be deleted.
We will not normally need to reveal information about you to other people or organisations, however we may need to provide details to our insurers, our accountants and regulatory bodies such as HMRC.
We use a variety of physical and technical measures to keep your data safe and to prevent unauthorised access to, or use, or disclosure of your personal information.
We store electronic data and databases on secure computer systems and control who has access to information (using both physical and electronic means). We use ‘the cloud’, which means that we store information on servers which we do not own and which are not kept in our offices. We access these servers through secure connections. All of our cloud computing suppliers meet strict requirements for security and confidentiality.
We do not send any information outside of the UK.
We do not use direct marketing and you will only ever receive emails from us which are related to an event we are organising.
Cookies and online analysis
Cookies are small text files that websites put on your computer so the site can remember who you are. They contain a unique, but anonymous, identifier, which is usually a string of letters or numbers.
We use analytical cookies in the form of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. They allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around our website when they are using it. These cookies do not personally identify any individual user but are used only to track user experience in order to make improvements.

Your legal rights are as follows:
The right to ask us to confirm whether we hold your personal data and, if we do, to obtain a copy of the information we hold. This is known as a subject access request. The right to have your data erased, although this may not apply where it is necessary for us to continue to hold or use the data for a lawful reason;
The right to move your data to another organisation in an electronically readable form;
The right to have inaccurate data rectified; and
The right to object to your data being used for marketing or profiling.
Please keep in mind that there are exceptions to the rights above and, although we will always try to respond to your satisfaction, there may be situations where we are unable to do so.
